Face morphing is usually treated as a visual gimmick, but its underlying mechanics reveal something more important: it is one of the few technologies that merges geometry, perception, and real-time computation to model how humans interpret identity. This talk breaks down the core innovations powering modern morphing systems, landmark alignment, mesh interpolation, temporal blending, and model-driven feature extraction, and explains how these techniques allow transformations that feel natural to the human eye.
