The next era of software is being shaped by four fundamental shifts: real-time multimodal interaction, rich generative media, advanced agentic systems, and open-weight models that can run anywhere. In this talk, we'll explore where the technology is heading and what the modern developer stack looks like. We'll dive into practical architectures across Google DeepMind's latest models, from building low-latency multimodal agents with Gemini to deploying open-weight Gemma models on-device.
